RV Parks - As Luxurious As A Hotel By Your Source for RVs and Supplies & Tips for RV, Camping and Outdoor Sports An RV park or Recreational Vehicle resort is just like a hotel for people with Recreational Vehicles. They provide a place to park the vehicle for overnight stay or for several days. They come with many other facilities such as tent camping or cabins with limited facilities. Indeed these locations can turn your RVs into "entertainment motorcoaches"! While different parks offer different ranges of services, you will find several common features in these parks. Typically, an RV park consists of a central building to meet others. It may also offer services like Swimming pool, spa, AC power hookups, Cable TV hookup, Telephone connections, Picnic tables, Gift shop, Convenience store, Laundry, Showers, Restrooms, Workout equipment and many more incredible features. RV parks and RV resorts range from basic facilities with no or limited hookups, as is often found in provincial parks and national parks, to luxury resorts with amenities that rival fine hotels. Some high-end resorts restrict the type of RV that can stay to motor homes of a certain length or longer, or newer than a certain year. Most parks are open to all travelers and rent spaces on a nightly or weekly basis, much like a hotel. A few of them operate on a time-share basis. Payment - Safe and Easy In most RV Parks and RV resorts, all nights' site and tax charges for your stay are paid at the time of reservation. You can check for monthly policies available with most of the RV Parks as well. Specific site requests cannot be guaranteed every time. Daily and weekly rates are based on the number of persons staying per site including children. Extra persons are subject to an additional charge. Any coupons, discounts or other promotional offers must be stated at the time of check-in. Master Card, Visa, American Express, Diners Club and Discover Cards all are accepted, making your payment option simplified. Guests Are Welcome Most RV Parks and RV resorts allow guests to visit you during your stay. Your guests have to register themselves with the gate attendant upon their arrival. They are often given a four-hour visitor's pass, upon availability, and must park in the visitor parking area or on your site. But there is a limit of 5 four-hour visitors' passes per site, per day. If your guests wish to stay longer than four hours, they will likely be required to purchase a day parking pass.
